Apparently there is rumor of a few dairies buying of USDA organic labels under the table and that any labels that say organic aren't to be trusted unless there is another source.
I don't know if this is the case with your milk or not but if it's free of hormones then good for you :).
And no, I don't have any college paper citable evidence of this claim. My mom told me that she read it. We're going to leave it at that.
