I made a post a couple weeks ago about not accumulating junk, but I do have a nice collection of Super Nintendo games. I have all the big RPGs which should hopefully increase in value over time. Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasies, etc... Some with original strategy guides. I've also got Suikoden 1 and 2 for Playstation that are easily worth $100-200 each. Outside of that I've tried to keep my "gotta have them all" tendencies at bay.

But yah, watching the people who try to have every single possible item is kind of scary. People with 2,000 dollars worth of vinyl from 1 band? No thanks. I think I'll be going for a broader collection than ultra specialized.
As for cds: I've been collecting those for the last couple of years but it was recently brought to my attention that as soon as you buy a cd it's value decreases to almost nothing. With the digital age, cds are merely a vehicle with which to get mp3s. The depreciation in value is why I'm interested in the vinyl. I just bought a 1st press that I found in a store and because through the label the record is in it's second press I bought an item worth double of what I payed! (just a little back story into why I'm doing it) I do love a good cd collection though! (I just wish the dang things weren't so easy to ruin!)
No Super Mario RPG, never found it for a good price and it's been 3 years since I watched ebay for games. Got a bunch of other classics though, NBA Jam or Bomberman with multitap anyone?
I still have my pokemon cards. I'm sure that counts. As for collecting now, I guess I'm working on my 24th dvd collection. just need season 6 now. Those and just a good collection of books.

Cory: I miss playing pokemon cards. I know Trevor still has his. Maybe we can get something going?
My system might be shot so I have to see about fixing or replacing it. Need more controllers too but I'd be down.
